API?

It'd be great to put that list via an API so it can be hit via curl!

We have two proposals on the table at the moment, one in #29 by @jney, progressed in #271 by @fgrehm, and the other is #304 by @vallsjm. Both look interesting, are not entirely mutually exclusive, and could be used to develop some kind of API (although I'm not exactly sure what sort of data you'd want to get out of a list of boxes?)

Perhaps if you can document what you'd want out of the API, bearing in mind this is a static site, so it'd be just asking either the git repo for the raw json or yaml data, or down to us producing static pages of json content.
