Roadmap

3.3.x release

Summary:

• Provide a stable release as the base for the Ganglia book. In particular:
• it is the first release including the new web interface, which is covered by the book.
• The Ganglia community is also aware of imminent deadlines for Debian, RHEL and OpenCSW distributions, and is keen to ensure that those distributions are carrying the version for the book

Priorities for 3.3.x series releases

• highest:
• fix any regressions created by previous 3.3.x series releases
• fix any regressions from previous 3.x releases
• fix severe bugs
• other:
• fix other bugs
• low:
• add minor features, but only if there is no risk to the release cycle

3.4.x release

Summary:

• Next feature release
• Likely to carry new features developed for the web interface
• May see changes to the strategy for the web submodule (e.g. it may separate again, and be distributed independently as v3.4.x or some higher number)
