create an automatic barrier that waits till teh imaes come back
Javier has actually some code that does his via ssh.
identify if we want to do psh vs pull model. Javiers code is Pull
We could include a litle program on the nodes that sends a message back to us reporting if the vm is ready. e.g. its the first thing the vm reports
can this not be found out through some log entry in openstack?
