Apparently multiple communities used shared logics to generate MAC addresses for virtual machines, which results in cross-community duplicates. Other communities have multiple nodes.json or meshviewer.json URLs that share a bunch of nodes.
This leads me to the idea that we should probably only discard duplicates inside a community. Anyway, here is the data for others to look through.
If I take a router and flash it with ffmuc and afterwards move it to ffac (maybe years later):
How long will there be a duplicate in the census? (or does it only count online devices?)
EDIT: I mean with this suggested change in place
