~/FeOS/kernel/source/newlibstubs.s prevents compilation, but upon removing the file it compiles just fine. A side effect, though, is that the keyboard (or lower touch screen) is now broken and doesn't respond.
System: DS Lite
devkitARM r53-1, libnds 1.7.3-3
