We need to make sure it is possible to push fractional weight updates when doing "live" on-board training. What does this mean in terms of discretization? Do we need extra code on the board to support this (as opposed to wholesale weight replacement). @therwig and @jmduarte will also be interested in this and/or able to help, etc.
