Possible reasons:

• Gentium (g_) does seem to result in a higher box than Ubunto (a possible solution might be to generally render Gentium passages in 10 pt rather than in 11 pt)
• f:over entails a baseline-shift in the CSS
• double script (ge:rewrite) (see double script (ge:rewrite) makes lines slightly move downwards #29)
