I chose it because its "the fast one", but its not as well known and perhaps maintained. HTTP::Tiny is probably sufficient. Or whatever.

Care must be taken though; LWP, for example, can support multiple/arbitrary schemes, which we don't want.

One thing that I think furl gets us (have not confirmed that it's doing this!) is streaming responses, which I'm not sure HTTP::Tiny can do, but haven't looked

Maybe that's why I liked it.
