Haven't updated it mostly due to personal time constraints, but because I haven't explored the new version elasticsearch. Will investigate and hope I'll find the time.

Thanks @fadion for the plug-in I have made fork of your plug-in made little changes to support Elasticsearch 6.x and Laravel 5.6. Here is the package I hope it helps someone https://github.com/vikram0460/ElasticLaravel
