Send email to assigned group

is there a possibility to send emails if the assigned user is a group? If not, is there a plan to add this feature?

Hi,

This is not possible to send emails to a group.
Well, I do not use redmine anymore. So I do not plan any features. But I
think this feature is useful and I will do it if I have spare time.

Well, I thought about this a little bit. And I'm not sure whether it's good choice or not.
