@evsar3 Are you still in support of sshfs-win-manager being actively maintained? If we make pulls, will it get merged?

Hello @SandiyosDev,

I'm currently looking for someone to help manage this project, including handling PRs, responding to issues, and updating features.

When I first created this project, I didn’t anticipate it would gain such a strong following and become so helpful for so many people. I’m grateful for the community that’s built up around it.

To get things moving, I'll set up a Windows environment on my Mac and start reviewing new PRs. Over time, I plan to grant maintainer rights to someone who demonstrates responsibility and strong engagement with the project to help keep things progressing smoothly.

@evsar3

To be fair this is one of the best current ways to manage SSHFS mounted drives and an extremely useful tool. It would be awesome to keep it mantained. Hopefully more people will hop in onto this project

I tried upgrading this project—say Vue, Webpack—and resolving other dependency conflicts, but I just cannot manage it without prior experience in Vue.
I don't think a rewrite is necessary, but this project, in its current state, is simply too hard to maintain without @evsar3 at least updating it to use modern packages.

I’ll create a new branch, clean it up, and set up a base project using Vue3 with TypeScript, Composition API, Vite, and the latest Electron.

I’ll work on macOS as far as possible, then decide whether to borrow a Windows device, virtualize Windows on my MacBook (a bit complex), or let the community continue while I review and merge PRs.

I have spent a few good hours on redesign on what would be v2.0 and came up with this:

What you guys think?

If you guys want to check it out or contribute, fork the project, and go to the v2.0.0 branch.
You may need to delete node_modules and npm install again.

Looks solid, long as the core functionality is maintained, any themes would work imo

This program is a deadset go-to for anyone with a bit of a home lab.
Been using it for years and glad to see there is a little bit of work going into it still.
Please continue

As a Mac user, I would like to get this working for macOS but the primary focus is to get a v2 working on Windows next few months.

The company I work for, kindly gave me an EC2 t3.medium instance with Windows Server 2025 to keep going with the Windows development of this software.

Thanks for the support and Happy New Year for everybody! 🎄🍾
