it already has dark mode ig its on "auto" mode!!

As mentioned, there is a dark mode already, but it uses prefers-color-scheme to activate it. So you'll need to set your operating system or browser to dark mode to trigger this. I'm not really planning on adding a toggle button to switch between the two modes unless someone can convince me why I should.

Speaking from my experience, I couldn't find a convenient solution to change my preferred color scheme in the browser for all websites on my desktop. There's no switch in Chrome flags that can define your preferred color scheme. Additionally, it's just one button that would enable some users to switch color schemes without going to the system settings or tinkering around.
