Nothing works anymore with a tool that doesn't work with a node.js version higher than 14.
It's okay for devs to work on v5, but this repository needs to be deprecated. I've just wasted 5 hours trying to get this thing to work.

Every time a patch is applied, another error pops up.

Thanks for those who follow, at least state the need and deprecation of the repository in the preamble.

I also lost time on this,
create-divi-extension is still the #1 solution on the internet for new Divi extensions,

• the NPM page should reflect that this is not the latest tool
• a message at the start of the script should make it obvious this is not maintained and up to date node will not work
• some link to the new tools in the readme would be nice (I'm off to find them for myself now)
