is it possible to use a custom function in time series calculations?

is it possible to use a custom function other than runpp or runopp in time series calculations?
I mean to use a function like for example

def custom_fun ():
          err ,PL_i,cont = 100, 0, 0
          while err> = 10e-4 and cont <= 10:
                       try:
                           pp.runopp (net, delta = 1e-16) 
                           net.gen.p_mw = net.res_gen.p_mw
                       except:
                           raise ValueError ("** FOP AC does not converge !! **")
           PL = net.load.p_mw.sum()  
            err   = Error_fun(PL,PL_i)
            cont += 1
            PL_i  = PL

and then use:

timeseries.run_timeseries(net, time_steps=list(range(0,94)), continue_on_divergence=True, verbose=True, run = custom_fun)
