How often does it get updated

Around 7:50-7:55am eastern time I was watching and channels just stop working. I made sure to check vercel, your link directly on tivimate and nothing. So my question became like the thetvapp i know you have to update it every 8 hours is it the same for this as well? How often should you update this?
