Cannot connect to DORNA Virtual Robot

Hi, I am trying to connect to the Dorna virtual robot but it is not showing as a device on the wireless LAN. Does this virtual device even have an ip address? I have attached nMAP results. I don't know what to use to connect. The default comes up as ws://dorna:443 but that doesn't work.

Hi, Are you talking about Dorna 2 or Dorna 1.
This is the Dorna 1 repo, and Dorna 1 does not have ws://dorna:443 port.

If you are referring to Dorna 2, and try to connect to the robot via ethernet, please follow the instructions given here:
https://doc.dorna.ai/docs/guides/connection/#direct-connection

Sorry @smhty but do you mean that I should connect the Laptop, on which the DORNA 2 virtual robot is running, to the broadband modem using ethernet cable? I don't have a physical DORNA device - I just want to run the simulator.

I also have the issues about connecting to virtual arm with websockets... I tried all kinds of my pc IP

I contacted Dorna but did not receive a reply. I think you need to actually purchase one of their robot arms to be able to use the simulator. If that is the case then, from a marketing perspective, they are not thinking outside of the square. A free simulator would be the ideal way of promoting interest in their products and, as a result, help to generate sales. Pete

where can I buy the simulator? I only see some hardware selling there...
