Unable to compile both examples

Hello Don,
I have tried compiling both the Flashlight and UART example code but have run into compilation issues. I am a newbie to this platform and so apologies if I have missed something. Please see the enclosed file that documents my CLI calls and the corresponding responses. Thank you for your assistance.

FWIW I'm on Cordova 10.0.0 Android platform 9.1.0 and IIRC the UART example compiled without issue. (It did not work correctly once it installed and ran but that's a separate issue). For the flashlight example I just commented out the line <plugin name="cordova-custom-config" spec="~2.0.0" /> and also had to remove that plugin cordova plugin remove cordova-custom-config 2.0.3 then it compiled and ran without issues. IIRC custom-config has been merged into cordova core so the plugin has been retired.
