you can use nginx to set password

sudo apt update
apt install apache2-utils
sudo htpasswd -c /etc/nginx/.htpasswd <your username>

server {
    listen 8007;
    server_name localhost;
    location / {
        proxy_pass http://localhost:8006;
        auth_basic "Restricted Content";
        auth_basic_user_file /etc/nginx/.htpasswd;

then, restart
