Crash on playback start #223
Comments
I'm seeing this as well with 1.3.5 on a stock OnePlus A6000 - any playback whatsoever crashes the app. Trying on a different device (Samsung SM-X200 tablet) from the same server plays just fine. |
Have you tried clearing app data and cache? |
Clearing cache didn't, but clearing app data and logging in to my server again did. I'll see if anything causes it to start crashing again. |
Can confirm that this bug is still affecting me today. Both 1.3.4 AND 1.3.5 crash whenever I try to play anything. This includes albums, individual songs, etc. I have tried wiping the app data and starting from scratch as suggested above, to no avail. I would very much like to be able to take advantage of the latest Gelli features. Note that I am now using a Pixel 7a (as my 5a died last month), but every attempt to update the app on my 5a had also yielded similar results. |
I am having a similar issue. Samsung Z Flip3, Gelli 1.3.5. I'd noticed it before where closing a playing queue would cause this issue, playing anything after would make the app crash, and clearing the app cache and data would not fix it. Only thing that did fix it was uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Just now I believe I've encountered this issue without clearing the queue, so I may have just lucked out before but I'm not sure. Can't say exactly when I first noticed the issue but it would've been within the past 2 months or so iirc |
I just updated to 1.3.4 from 1.3.3, and as soon as I tried playing music, the app crashed, every time. I originally tried adding multiple tracks to the queue (initially empty) from a playlist. But then I tried just playing the playlist by tapping a track in the middle of it. I had to uninstall the app and then reinstall 1.3.3, with the broken sleep timer. :/
Running Android 13 on Pixel 5a.
