Sosyal medya monitoring firmaları bir crawler ile sosyal medyada belli bir kelimeye / markaya gelen yorumlari topluyor ve arka planda editorlere pozitif vs negatif diye değerlendirme yaptırıyor.

Benzer bir yöntemle gazeteleri hedef alarak gündem hakkında haberlerinden / başlıklarından söylem analizi yapan bir sistem geliştirilebilir.

bu newsdiff ile beraber gazetelere "gözümüz üzerinizde" demeyi güçlendirecektir, newsdiff ve gazete ngram sayacı ile beraber bir araç grubunun parçası olabilir.
