"Expand Tweet" brings "Error" message

OTD 4.0.3 Mac, Firefox stable & Chrome, reading long tweets

When I click on Expand Tweet I get an error message most of the time. Sometimes (appr. 1/10) it works and the tweet expands.

Also: When I click on a user profile name and there on "Tweets", it loads forever and does not show former tweets. As above appr. 1/10 it works but mostly not.

Can you help pls?

I tried a few times and it seemed to work for me fine every time. Maybe you're getting rate limited?

That too, once in a while, but my the expand-issue and tweet-view is independent of rate limit.
Right now the search and user columns dont load, but 2 long tweets did expand, 5 other did not.
Same with tweets in profile view: 2 did display, many others did not.
Update: one user column is back now.

There's different rate limits for every feature.

Bypass rate limit in the settings does not seem to make a difference, you once said "try on/off and off/on, maybe it will work, maybe not." Is that still so?

Bypass option only applies to columns, it doesn't work for Expand.
