Hi @jknack. I've been hammering your notifications tab, but I'm all done for a while! I'm gonna focus on other stuff for a week or two (except to respond to any progress you make), but I wanted to summarize where things are and what's important.

Jooby 3.x is great, I'm stoked, I don't have any tasks for you there. The only task I anticipate is that we'll be using Selfie for diffplug.com, so we'll be revisiting it as a real-world example of Selfie.

• "Sub" snapshots. #13
  • finishing this is pretty easy I think, but it's a kinda tedious step-through-the debugger kind of fix. I think it's a good way to get introduced to the system.
  • we can ~kinda use selfie right now, but after this gets fixed merged we can actually 100% start using it on DiffPlug.com
• Track double writes (prepare for literal snapshots). #15
  • this one is more greenfield, writing code and not spending a bunch of time in the debugger.
  • it matters a little bit for disk-based snapshots, but it's super important for inline literal snapshots
  • If you can eventually implement the entire inline literal system that would be awesome, so this PR is useful now, but it's more important as prep for future work
• Carriage return handling #16
  • this one is easy and kind of annoying, but important to call ourselves a 1.0 for windows users

These are the PRs (plus some others) we need to close to publish a 1.0. The multiplatform stuff is not on that critical path, but I am excited to make the multiplatform story as easy as possible. Since you recently did

I think it probably makes sense for you to work on that first while it's still fresh in your head, then merge and be done with it. If you thing the common-izing is a PITA, just merge it as-is and we can come back it later.
