Any update on Spark Thrioft support for ctalaogs

I went through following issue CT-220 I am unable to find more details on this issue about it status whether the issue has been fixed or still to be considered for the development. I tried latest dbt and catalog property in profiles.yaml for thrift configuratuon but it doesn't consider the property.

This is very essential feature for spark module and eliminates complex set up.
