Configuration file of the DJA's object detection?

I'd like to ask about object detection of the DJA photometry catalog.

Now, I'm checking the spatial variation of the limiting magnitudes within a given survey field (e.g. CEERS) to see how uniformly the objects are detected. Valentino+23, a reference paper of the DJA, say they used a Pythonic version of the Source Extractor (i.e. "sep"). So, I also think of using sep to measure the background noise level.

Is there a configuration file available or equivalent documentation describing the DJA object detection by sep in detail? I am particularly interested in how local background subtraction is done (e.g. the size of the annulus used to estimate background).
