Rl-glue exits with broken pipe message

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the rl-glue 
2. Run the agent and environment
3. Forcefully shut down the agent (i.e. Ctrl-C)
4. Run the experiment

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would be nice if the rl-glue could detect that the agent (or something else) 
has disconnected 
and report that to the user. Instead, you see a broken pipe message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
RL-Glue Version 3.0-beta-1, Build 858
Mac OS X  10.5.5
