Support Community-supported agriculture (CSA)

Community-supported agriculture (CSA model) or cropsharing is a system that connects producers and consumers within the food system closer by allowing the consumer to subscribe to the harvest of a certain farm or group of farms.

CSA stands for AMAP in French.

To support this use case in the ontology we would need to:

• Represent the subscription of a consumer to know how many products to harvest;
• Represent a Shares content (basket) to browse the history;
• Represent recurring distribution session to allow planning.

I think these can be captured within the existing Product Transformation process, something like:

1. Create products to represent the various shares (different sizes, product differences: veg, fruit, eggs etc)
2. Create Transformations to determine the constituent parts of those shares

I think this approach would allow the creation of the share product, and then the Enterprise creates the transformation flow, when they fulfil the share order.

We agreed that a recurring order is a generic use case.

This could be implemented as a new concept (e.g. Contract), with a frequency & number of recurrences. @Alcoz will investigate & we can review in next meeting.

@RachL will invite the developer of Clic'AMAP here to discuss about their data model that we could get inspiration of to handle CSA concepts in the DFC ontology.

We discussed this further. Current thinking is to include a Contract object, that has a StartDate, Frequency and optionally EndDate & NoOfOccurences. It is linked to Agent (both a managing & contracted Agent) and CataologItem. It will generate Orders.
