Hi, I try to connect PZEM004Tv3 to esp32. No back response. Works fine with ESP8266 (Software serial).
The RX LED on PZEM flashes, but not the TX LED flash (as with ESP8266)
Pins 16,17.
Any suggestions ?

Hi @Cristianistrate, at first if directly connected pzem004t with esp32 there will be no response, this is due to different voltages. so to overcome this it is necessary to add a resistor with a value of 1k ohm on pzem004t so that it will work well on esp32

Hi, I put the 1K resistor, no luck. Same result. Any other suggestions (again, the module works fine on ESP8266)

I put it between 5v pins and firs pin of optocupler:

I will put it like you and test it!
Thanks!

Still no luck. I put 2 500ohm resistors in series =1k

Thank you for your help, buy I think is time to give up
