Background auto start needed? #196
Comments
Probably it's a MIUI thing, you could try the suggestions from https://dontkillmyapp.com/xiaomi#user-solution Does the "ultra battery saver" change the wallpaper? The default (not MIUI) Android battery saver doesn't change the wallpaper. I think it is not possible to auto-start a live wallpaper. Once it is stopped, it has to be reapplied manually. |
I tried that suggestions, but many of them are gone in HyperOS update. Returns the wallpaper to the default, like forcing stop the wallpaper app. I added the app to the battery saver exceptions but still happens. |
Could you try another Live wallpaper app to see if this is a general problem with live wallpapers or if there is something wrong with this app? |
Yes i dont want to see my eye hurting stock wallpaper after a reboot |
@SofiaRedmond, have you evaluated @cvzi's suggestion at #196 (comment)?
I ask because this might be the cause of #220 (comment). |
Yes, i tried. And it work as expected, so i forget this thread exists 😁 But yes, its a issue of this app. |
When i go to ultra battery saver and then exits that mode, wallpaper is gone. I need to open the app and re apply the wallpaper.
It's possible to fix that adding an "background auto start" feature? Or it's a MiUI issue? Is there a workaround available?
My phone is a Redmi Note 11 with HyperOS.
