Run the container with
docker run -it ...
as described in the README. -
Now let's say, after some work, you have
image.png
in the container. -
Run
pwd
in the container to find the path to the directory you want to copy out. For instance, it may be/home/opam/pifo-trees-artifact
. -
Back on the host, run
docker ps
to find the container ID. It will be something whimsical with an underscore, likefurious_cellist
. -
Run
docker cp furious_cellist:/home/opam/pifo-trees-artifact/image.png .
to copy the file out. -
In particular, the two incantations you are likely to need are:
for f in fcfs fcfs_bin hpfq rr rr_bin strict strict_bin threepol threepol_bin twopol twopol_bin wfq wfq_bin; do docker cp "CONTAINER_ID_HERE:/home/opam/pifo-trees-artifact/${f}.png" .; done
and
for f in extension extension_ternary; do docker cp "CONTAINER_ID_HERE:/home/opam/pifo-trees-artifact/${f}.png" .; done
