podman struck at starting machine in macos #21205

If it is Apple Silicon and brew installation, then it is probably a duplicate of #21096 Linked issue has some workarounds listed. |
Yeah I have exactly this problem. Can't use podman 😢 |
Podman still unusable on MacOS after all those weeks. Even the new 4.9.0 on Macos 14.3. |
I agree Podman, out of the box, is not starting properly on MacOS. If you follow the detailed workaround instructions in #21096 you should be able to get it working. At least that worked for me. Specifically these instructions here worked for me: #21096 (comment) |

Issue Description
Just installed podman in macos, after entering command podman machine start podman-machine-default it struck at starting machine "podman-machine-default". I don't see any logs or failures some thing like that.
