[Bugfix] Applied the most necessary fixes for TYPO3 8 LTS.

We're planning to prepare a set of functional tests to run across the supported TYPO3 (and PHP) versions. It makes sense to make this happen before merging this PR. Please be patient! Thank you for your understanding. |
