I'm back again lol :)
I noticed that the compatibility for race and qualifying sessions has changed from an absolute no to a... well, maybe it works. I was interested in getting started with testing these sessions in the hopes of being able to host more 'smart' race servers. How would I accomplish this? I had a couple of ideas in mind:
I'm not a Patreon subscriber but re-purposing the speed trap plugin at various circuits would be nice instead of having them on just SRP.
A genuine stewarding system with the report plugin would be great for servers like Euroracers with their money system. Incidents, instead of being judged by just wherever or not you hit someone, could be judged by moderators instead. Seems like a good idea; this could also be useful for leagues too although albeit a bit less considering that they would probably have their own systems.
Once again, not a Patreon sub, but safety rating? No-brainer. If there was ever a possibility to link safety rating between servers (if there already is, I'm not aware of it), this could also be used to lock certain servers behind safety ratings like ACC or iRacing with their 'splits'.
All in all, I'm just curious of how this works. I think AssettoServer would absolutely breathe new life into racing on Assetto Corsa aswell as the obvious freeroaming capabilities that have been focused on in the past.

AssettoServer should in work with Quali and Race like acServer. One catch: only pickup mode, no booking session as of now.
Just configure a server like you would for acServer!
Speedtraps can be freely placed, you just have to configure it
skip
Safety Rating is shared between servers as it uses the Hub
