Currently, recond stores the config in the user's home directory as a .recond.json file. This is a naive way of doing things and is probably wrong.
It is recommended that the config files of daemon programs are stored in the /etc/ folder. Refer to http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-config/ and http://www.pathname.com/fhs/pub/fhs-2.3.html
