Alternative MCU ? #19
Comments
You might have the "Nuvoton" MCU, which is a 8051 based rather than ST8 as the one for this project. So sad they've grounded the top side of the IC, so we'll never know. |
Thanks. Then i probably just swap MCU. I have few stm8 |
I successfully swap MCU but not without a hassle. First time MCU refuses to boot so i swaped it back to development board. It was working fine on development board an not working at all on vc288 board so i started remove aditional parts (2x resistor array ) then ive spoted that VCAP is missing on vc288 board. After installing VCAP board came to life. |
Can anyone help me identify my board HW version? HW 1 and 2 have only 2 pins swapped but i dont see any difference on the display. |
And below 10 Volts comma do not shift. Do i have to configure it somewhere ? |
So instead of 3.00V it shows 30.0V |
I've got V2 HW configuration (PB4 = AD2, PA1 = AD3). |
My vc288 board looks the same but MCU markings are totally scratched up. And i cannot write ROP Option Byte. Is it possible that i have different MCU?
