In reference to the following paragraph in the introduction:

No other options should be used, although some association ends in CIM are defined as aggregation (= shared).

Tanja Kostic commented:

If there is something other than “vanilla” association to be used, then it should be composition (black diamond), that denotes containment, not the white diamond (that is very controversial altogether in the UML community).

Decision is needed on if we explicitly outline in the modeling guide what Tanja is raising here.
