Installer script doesn't acknowledge errors #1691

The installer script doesn't check the exit status of commands to present the success message which might be misleading.

  • Check for exit code and if necessary present error message before terminating
  • Check for python version before installation (Required version is 2.x for bcrypt, using any other version will present an error)
