Photon javascript lib makes this possible with "iCloud/GDrive + 2FA". They outline the threat model too. It relies on a centralized keyserver for 2FA. |

Muun seems to be at the cutting edge with this using both cloud backups and their emergency kit. This not only backs up their keys but also the output descriptors to find them. They have a recovery tool that sweeps funds in a worst case scenario. Still, I find their security center and backup process to be a bit cumbersome with the amount of data it requires. Your wallet has a pin to do on-device encryption. Your email address and your password (separate from the pin) is given to muun. You create an alternate backup to the cloud by writing down a recovery code finally, you create an emergency kit pdf to recover using that recovery tool worst case. |

The biggest risk users face is error thanks to single point of failure. I'm talking losing on-device single-signer keys. This is the kind of thing Casa fixes.
We should support encrypted cloud backups as an option. Or even the default with seed word backup as opt-in. Let's discuss what such an implementation would require.
