Invisible checkbox on Latte + Poor hover contrast in run configuration for all flavours

1. Checkboxes use the same color as selections, so they are not visible on the git commit tool window:
   

2. Buttons (run, debug ...) in run configuration have no hover state:

Thanks for raising this.

I know about 1. and it's a by product of a workaround I had to make earlier on iirc. I'll need to revisit it and remind myself why it's like that.

For 2., that actually affects all the flavours and not just Latte. I've unfortunately been unsuccessful in figuring out what highlight actually controls the hover for the icons.
