Version for other file types

We have an issue across multiple moodles where (mainly) tutors upload videos into moodle - some can be over 100 MB.

Could this plugin be extended to also find files with mime-type 'video' ?

sounds like an interesting idea - I'd be more inclined to look at seeing if a new report builder (moodle 4.0) report based on the mdl_files table might be the best way to achieve that rather than building this into a report intended to manage Moodle backup files.
