Excel report does not show custom fields content

I am having an issue, we created a custom field for our Face-to-face activities for Instructor name. It's a text field. When we download the Excel attendance report, the field instructor is empty. We removed special characters and even spaces and it does not show. Is there an issue with custom fields for this module? Are we doing something wrong?
