Generate a Table of Contents that links to the correct pages.

Research so far points to Rinohtype as the only pure python typesetting system. Directly outputs to PDF, and does ToC properly.

ptext is another alternative, but I didn't like the output or licensing.

  • ptext is now borb, which seems decent enough now
  • rinohtype has matured a lot
  • both ptext and rinohtype use AGPL, so licensing is a moot point.
  • fpdf2 is another option: https://py-pdf.github.io/fpdf2/index.html. But default styles are meh,
