It would be great to have the possibility to allow consumers of subtitles to wish for specific talks to be subtitled (or subtitles translated) the most. The idea would be, to implement a voting style like in Uservoice feedback webapplication, where everybody could give a max number of votes for a subtitle.
While the critical part of this might be to create problematic expectations, the positive effect could be, that interaction of those using subtitles to those that are voluntarily creating them could start, giving those who do the hard work of transcription the feeling, that people do appreciate the existence of subtitles to a given talk.
