To avoid any problems with updates, the script requires an active power connection when attempting an update through the command line. I do not assume that just because a device may have 60% of battery life left that it won't drain quickly. I didn't add logic that requests the user to connect to power because I felt that would just provide the end-user a way to avoid performing the update. Additionally, this logic does not exist when a user is performing the update through the GUI (Software Update preference pane) because that already confirms power requirements by warning the user to plug in.
Power Check is the GUI alert,
I have tested via manually got an echo notified not yet connected the power but not in the GUI popup
can you change that to the GUI method to wait for 10 min to connect the adapter to continue the process?
or can give the adapter plugin waiting for timing in parameter method.
