I am trying to run CRISPRAnalyzeR with the Docker, but it doesn't work.
I have downloaded the latest version of docker (v. Version 17.12.0-ce-mac55 (23011)) and of kitematic (v. 0.17.2).
It has made some problems at the beginning and was needed to be reseted twice. Now Docker is running and kitematic too. I have downloaded the crispranalyzer. I have than change the port from 32679 to 8000, saved and restarted it. But it is not running.

When I now open the settings, the port numbers are all gone. I have tried to set 8000 again, but when I try to open the web page http://localhost:8000/CRISPRAnalyzeR/ I get an error localhost refused to connect.

I am running it on mac HighSierra v. 10.13.3

Can you help?

Hi Assa,

sorry for having overlooked this issue.
I will ahave a closer look on this the next days, but I assume it is a kitematic issue.
We will find a solution on this - stay tuned.

Best

Thanks again,
just as a side track - is it possible to run it on an ubuntu server? I am running an Rstudio server on the machine, so I know i can work with R, but i am not sure how to install the tools on it.
Would it run better on the ubuntu machine?
thanks
Assa
