can’t tame red pandas

hi . so I just made a server for 1.18.2 fabric , and I’ve already tamed a few animals like the ferret . however i can’t seem to feed the red pandas sweet berries . tried throwing them , planting them , and feeding them directly . not even the particles for a rejection . just nothing . help please ?

Hey I hope I am not too late but in case someone else has the same issue: you can only tame red pandas at night, as that is the only time they are active--otherwise they sleep through the day :)
