The process seems to terminate immediately. There's probably another blueman-applet process already running. |

I had the same problem with keyboard Keychrone K8
Workaround:
Below are log entries from both failed and success connection (they are the same IMO) Connection succeeded log: blueman-applet 11.38.08 INFO TransferService:234 _on_dbus_name_appeared: org.bluez.obex :1.93 Hope this could help someone in investigation. |

Hey cschramm, thank you for the hint! I did and got the output below. Do you know what it means/how to proceed from there?

References on the Internets for that are typically for paired devices and the easy fix is to re-add them, sometimes in conjunction with power management. If the device is not paired, as you described, BlueZ might still have some state for it in |

I tried rea dding several times but this doesn't change anything. What do you mean by in conjunction with power management? |

I saw some references to power management, i.e. issues starting after standby or solved by changing some settings (nothing specific, though). The errors are often slightly different, though, e.g. The BlueZ project should definitely be more helpful to get behind the problem. One other thing than the remote device that I could think of causing the errors without knowing much of the kernel parts where they come from, is the audio server. Assuming you're using the pulseaudio default, you should check if its logs happen to give more insights and you might want to give PipeWire a shot. |

Like @tai-tran-tan I'm also having problems with a Keychron Bluetooth keyboard, but in my case a Keychron K6. My usual workaround is to switch the keyboard on and off several times until it automatically connects. I never have connection problems with the other BT devices I'm using (a Logitech Pebble mouse and Soundcore Life Q30 headphones/headset), so I wonder if there's some quirk in the devices that experience issues. I have exactly the same issue with the Keychron K8 pro keyboard as @tai-tran-tan described and it is very annoying. |

There's a bunch of hits on the Internets for Keychron keyboards and Linux Bluetooth. You might want to have a look at https://gist.github.com/andrebrait/961cefe730f4a2c41f57911e6195e444 and definitely try the |

Just had the same error message with my Soundcore Life Q30 headphones (for the first time). Removing the device from the list and then searching for it and connecting was enough to fix it. |

Not if the device is already paired and you do not change something like the trusted state in between. |

let me interject, I have been using blueman, it seems that this issue occurs on random, at least for the user once a disconnect occurs right click and connect doesn't fix it, you have to unpair and repair. |

I was doing this regularly so I ran into another bug lmao, this time I figured that SO now I cannot unpair/remove the device maybe reboot will fix this. But the error code is: |

Hello, I'm new to the github community. I have a problem with the BA07 bluetooth adapter. It works fine on Windows 10, finds devices and connects to them. But on my Linux laptop, Manjaro searches for devices correctly, but when I try to connect, I get br-connection-unknown. I tried a bluetooth speaker on my phone and both have the same problem |

It used to work, but now I can only pair my Bose SoundLink II if I put it into Discovery mode. Otherwise, I get this timeout every time. It's really annoying. This has been happening for the last 2 weeks or so. Arch Linux, switching between Gnome 3 on Wayland and Cinnamon Desktop on XOrg. It's the only OS on the system, no Windows. |

TLDR: Check if your device has a manual pairing mode and enable it. Case:
Somewhat same error and behavior. In my case I got various logs and messages. E.g. In my attempts I also got similar faults:
I could pair them. But connecting resulted in connect / disconnect with some ms distance. My solution was to set them in Pairing Mode (Hold down buttons on both for 3 sec). Have paired other pods etc. but none of these have a manual pairing mode. Then pairing + connection succeeded. A second caveat withe these devices is that they are two separate devices. I.e. one have to pair both. I had to pair them in correct order for it to work. (Had to Typically something like:

Had this issue. Jabra Elite Active 45e. NixOS. Forgetting the device and pairing it again fixed it. It did connect itself to my tablet before I tried to select it on my laptop. It still was doing that after turning off bluetooth on my tablet. |
