The programme sniffs for qhsusb qload 9008 drivers are you sure you have
installed the Qualcomm usb drivers

Issue solved. I switched to Zadig WinUSB and now everything is working.
The Qualcomm drivers (that worked well while using QFIL) had to be removed
when using EDL.

Note: If I do not add --debugmod, the message will not appear in the output, EDL will simply exit after declaring the device has been detected.
