The Hub Portal is a platform meant to act as a connection point for young scientists in universities across Kenya. It will have a database and a website for data and user access. Some general points of what needs to be done:

  1. Gather all data needed for the portal. Data consists of: Universities in Kenya, links to useful resources that can be helpful to students, lists of experts (potential mentors) and institutions that offer opportunities for scientists.
  2. Determine how to organize all the data organized to make it easily accessible.
  3. How will people contribute to the portal e.g add their universities, or useful resources?
  4. How will the members be able to interact i.e view each others work, ask questions?

To gather data on universities and science clubs, we tried out a questionnaire approach.
List of universities and their science courses: add university website links to this column (easier than listing one by one)

  1. How will people contribute? Add a CONTRIBUTE.md with guidelines on how to add information.
