make documentation easier to access

The file syslog.md should be renamed to README.md, that way it will show up when going in to the syslog directory and it would be much nicer to link to the syslog dir instead of having to link to the actuall syslog.md file to get good description of the project.

(sorry for my original assumption about this only having syslog)
This is just an example, maybe there is more of the same where *.md should be renamed README.md
