We have been invited to demonstrate Bastion at the Malta QA Professionals Meetup during the first quarter of 2017. This is a great opportunity to get other people involved with Bastion.

We need:

  • A 30 minute presentation.
  • A live demonstration of Bastion in a IDE.
  • A volunteer who wants to conduct the presentation.

The presentation must not be longer than 30 minutes and the target audience are other developers and QA engineers. Anyone who wants to give the presentation is invited to reply to this issue so that we can help them with preparing the presentation.

I'll work on this. I think it makes sense to go for a live programming approach so that Bastion's use case can be made more clear.

Points which I think are important to mention:

  • Do everything you do in Postman, but in Java. So you get all the advantages of version control, collaboration, complex tests, refactoring tools, etc.
  • It's open-source! So we must encourage everyone to collaborate and contribute.
  • It is, hopefully, easy to use and since it's blackbox testing, it's ideal for QA and test-driven development in general.
